What item couldn’t you live without?

I couldn’t live without my phone. It’s my connection to the outside world and the nerve centre for keeping Rotherham Pride Alive.

What really annoys you?

It annoys me how people forget about the little guys. The people who are there for the community, work hard and make a difference.

If you could choose your perfect meal, what would it be?

Proper Yorkshire fish and chips cooked in good old dripping.

What’s the most bizarre music choice you have in your personal collection?

I have everything from Black Lace and Aqua to Meatloaf and Queen. Why not Tune into my show and find out.

Why did you decide to join Rother Radio?

Rother Radio are a truly local station who genuinely have a positive impact on the community. They have supported Pride 2024 massively and continue to do so going forward It’s good to help those who help you.

What other radio stations have you worked on?

Funnily enough this is my first station. Coming from a live stage background, I’ve always been told that I have a face for radio so I decided to transfer my skills and join the team here at Rother Radio!

What’s the worst thing you have ever said during a show by accident?

I haven’t personally but in the live stage world one of the most embarrassing moments was when someone’s microphone got left on back stage. Not such a comfortable comfort break for the cast member.

If a very generous listener sent you £10,000, what would you do with it?

I would use it towards the community projects I’m involved with. The voluntary sector is so under funded that every penny helps.

If you could change something about yourself, what would it be?

My Job. If I had the financial backing, I would quit paid employment and do voluntary work for the community full time. Unfortunately I’m not that lucky… yet.

Tell us a secret about yourself?

I’m secretly terrified about going on air. I just want everyone to enjoy the show!
